May be very handy for mending torn sleeves, collars, apparel, lingerie, baby and kids clothes, sheers and curtains, etc, when you need really tiny pad to put underneath to fuse stabilizer to the torn segment. Ironing pad fabric is made of special aluminized coat material, which protects fusible web from sticking to the pad. Just be sure what temperature is recommended for the fabric.
